HOW I USED PEMF TO GET 85-90% RECOVERY FROM MY STROKE

I AM GOING TO SHARE MY TESTIMONY OF HOW I USED PEMF THERAPY TO GET 85-90% RECOVERY FROM THE STROKE I HAD SUFFERED JANUARY 3, 2018. I am writing this on January 9, 2019 one year later.    I remember very   vividly what happened when I awoke during the night to relieve my bladder. I wear a below -the-knee prosthesis on my right leg which I remove when I go to bed and I normally I lift myself up by putting t my left leg past the mattress and pull myself to the side of the bed as I raise myself to sit up to use my hand urinal, but for some reason (most likely as a result of the stroke during the night) I over compensated and found myself falling off the bed. When I hit the floor I landed hard on my left shoulder and hip and the left side of my face landed on a power strip causing some bruising and weakness of my face muscles and subluxating my jaw and several vertebrae of my neck. When I tried to get up I felt no strength in my left shoulder, arm wrist and hand, and my left leg was weak from my hip joint down to my foot.

I could feel that the fall affected my shoulder which was difficult to move without pain and lacked any strength. I managed to get myself back on the bed where I laid until my wife came to say good morning and found me laying there in pain with difficulty moving and raising myself up. I had NO IDEA I SUFFERED A STROKE WHICH CAUSED ME TO LOOSE MY ABILITY TO GET UP, I blamed it on sleepily slipping off the bed and injuring my left shoulder arm hip and leg. My daughter insisted I go to the hospital immediately when she saw that I was slurring my words and saw the left side of my face affected but I insisted that all my symptoms were caused by me falling hard off the bed. I asked to be taken to my chiropractor to have my skeletal system checked out and adjusted.

At the chiropractor's office I was diagnosed with all the suspected subluxations to my jaw, neck, shoulder, elbow, hip and even my left knee. He said they were definitely out and could cause the weaknesses I had. He adjusted my body and I was able to walk out of his office unassisted to the car and into my house. The doctor cautioned that if the weaknesses reoccur within 24 hours to go to the hospital and get checked out for a stroke.

Well the next morning I found I was unable to move my shoulder and I lost all range of motion and my hip was sore and weak so I was not able to walk on it. I figured the trauma from the fall caused my shoulder and hip to become inflamed and the swelling gave me a frozen shoulder and hip. I was not going to guess at what was going on and I finally decided to go to the Hospital. After having been test and checked over by 2 doctors and having a CAT Scan, they decided that I possibly had a stroke but nothing showed up in the Scan so they ordered an MRI the next day. It showed that some small capillaries in the motor area of my brain had burst impairing the use of my left arm, hand, and leg. But my shoulder and hip injury also contributed to the loss of movement and because of the swelling and scar tissue the shoulder was jammed out of place and range of motion was lost and I ended up with a frozen shoulder which alone takes at least up to a year to heal and normalize with therapy but this was compounded with the stroke.

I was admitted into the hospital for therapy and went to physical therapy every day except weekends from January 10, 2018, to March 24, 2018 when they dismissed me unrecovered because my insurance ran out and I was not recovering fast enough for insurance to justify my being in the hospital. I later discovered that 85% of stroke patients are sent home unrecovered for this reason. I was devastated when I found this out and that I was going to have to care for myself since I did not have health insurance or a huge amount of money to pay for therapy. What was I going to do?

After much prayer and seeking the Lord I came across the Benefits of PEMF Therapy online and how it charges up the cells of the body, increases circulation, improves oxygen levels in the blood and cells, moves minerals in and out of the cells, stimulates and activates stem cells and nerve cell production, and reduces inflammation in the muscles and joints relieving swelling and pain. My research also showed that PEMF Therapy was clinically studied on stroke victims and it was discovered was to stimulate neuroplasticity in the brain area affected by the stroke when treated for 20 minutes 2 times daily with a 10 Hz at a medium intensity for about 6-12 weeks. This was fantastic!

The more I researched PEMF Therapy the more I realized what it could do more for my condition than what could not be done for me in the hospital for 3 months. I studied and researched which PEMF System would best serve my needs and budget so I looked at the QRS PEMF Sstem at http://www.qrs.com/products.php?PARTNER=PEMFdoc  the BioBalance System at  and The Earth-Pulse System at https://earthpulse.net/#a_aid=goodvibrationspemfdocpace .

I was able to acquire all three of these systems with the help of the distributors making them available to me at a discount so I could to try them out and decide which one was suited for my situation and which afforded me the best results. The first system I managed to purchase is the QRS System with the Pen Accessory. I began using PEMF Therapy around October 4th when I got my QRS System. I used the full body mat and the Pillow and Pen intermittently for 15 minute sessions set at the BASIS PROGRAM WITH MEDIUM INTENSITY SET AT 5.

I used this setting twice and three times a day for about two weeks before I noticed more flexibility in my hand and fingers and more range of motion in my left hip.   My trapezius muscles began to relax the more treatments I took making sure I was well hydrated with water supplemented with liquid minerals especially magnesium and potassium. It was like the difference between night and day, my body felt more calm and my muscles relaxed then when I was in the rehab program in the hospital with no mineral supplementation causing me to have stiff muscles and joints that were even more aggravated with the physiotherapy exercises I was forced to do by the therapists.

I complained that my muscles and joints were stiff from lack of these minerals but to no avail, they said it was because of the stroke and that my brain is not giving the muscles the signals to relax. That may be true to a point, but why was I experiencing such a difference taking the liquid minerals and the PEMF Therapy? I believe it was because the PEMF Therapy was getting down deep into the tissues, increasing blood flow and the energy in the cells so they were revitalized and were functioning more normally and my muscles, nerves, and tendons were being nourished and they were regenerating and healing. The PEMF WAS ALSO MOVING OUT THE INFLAMMATION FROM MY SHOULDER, HIP AND HAND AND I WAS SLOWLY, BUT SURELY GETTING BACK MOVEMENT IN MY FROZEN SHOULDER THAT WOULD NOT EVEN MOVE WHEN THE CHIROPRACTOR ROTATED IT AND ENCOURAGED ME TO LIFT MY ARM TO NO AVAIL. IT WAS LOCKED IN PLACE BECAUSE OF THE INFLAMMATION AND SCAR TISSUE THE BODY LAID OUT RESPONDING TO THE TRAUMA OF THE FALL.

The doctor told me I will need to rebuild an opening for the shoulder socket TO fit in the joint before I will be able to use it again with full range of motion. It was extremely painful and stiff when he pried it back and forth to tear away the scar tissue that developed. The QRS System was working great on the whole body energizing my cells and increasing my circulation and moving out the inflammation, but after about 3 weeks to a month I saw little progress with the shoulder and seemed to reach a plateau of recovery, so I remembered when researching PEMF that there was a system called the Earth Pulse that had coils instead of mats or pillows that put out  STRONGER AND DEEPER SIGNALS THAT WOULD PENETRATE DEEPER INTO THE BODY THAN THE MAT AND PILLOW OF THE QRS SYSTEM AND IT COULD BE RUN FOR 12 HOURS RATHER THAN 1 HOUR WHICH MEANT I COULD TREAT MY SHOULDER ALL NIGHT AND DAY BY WEARING THE COIL ON MY SHOULDER.

I bought the Earth Pulse System with 2 coils and began using it November 4th. y research told me the 10Hz PEMF Frequency was clinically proven to stimulate stem cell activation, and repair of nerve cells and tissues of the muscle and cartilage, remove inflammation and even stimulate neuroplasticity in the damaged brain areas after a Stroke. I would set the controller on Manual at 10Hz for 12 hours with 80% Intensity and use the one coil with the outer ring directly on my shoulder, I put the coil in a sock so it would not slip off my shoulder and sometimes I would slip it into my sweatshirt or whatever I was sleeping in to hold it in place with the N side of the coil against my body. I would place the other coil without the ring on my left side and cupped my left hand over it to be treated with the PEMF my THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. I even put the coil under my pillow to treat my brain in the area of the Stroke to stimulate neuroplasticity.

I used the Earth Pulse System faithfully for about 3weeks and found more improvement in the shoulder and hand but I was wanting to treat my whole body not just my shoulder all night long. So the sales manager that I bought the Earth Pulse from recommended I buy the BioBalance System which is able to treat my whole body with a full body mat and a pillow at the same time and has more up-to-date technology than the QRS and he had a discounted demo model that I could not refuse. I began using the BioBalance about November 10, 2018 with the Recovery and Sweep Programs for 15 minutes twice a day and the Sleep Program setting all night long giving me a deep sleep and allowing my body to repair itself, remembering to drink my mineral infused water daily to keep my electrolytes high in my cells which allows them to hold the electric charge like the battery in your car does, the more charge in your cells the healthier they are and the better and quicker they repair. Good rest, good nutrition and recharging the cells daily sets the stage for healing! And it works.

My shoulder has almost full range of motion and I can raise my hand up to my face and pinch my nose. I can hold a jar or bottle in my left hand and squeeze it tight enough to open it with my right hand. I am going to ad several short videos I had taken to show my progress from when I was in the hospital to the time of this writing. You will see how quickly my recovery progressed after beginning my PEMF Therapy. I was so amazed at the quick results I had from these PEMF Systems I became a distributor to share my testimony and my experience with other Stroke patients and to help them recover quickly from their setback. Yes, there is hope for you and I am here to help you get back on your feet again and out of your bed and your wheelchair as I have in less than 4 months of using these incredible PEMF Systems.

Stroke Rehabilitation using PEMF therapy

A stroke is usually a life changing event. Once you have a stroke you lose the motor, speech, and cognitive abilities. This is caused by damage to brain cells hence loss of functionality. Traditional therapies such as physiotherapy and speech therapy produce limited results. Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMFT) is here to change that. It leads to faster and significant recovery.

PEMF therapy can enhance recovery by up to 300%!

Research on PEMF has come a long way. A lot of skepticism about its benefits caused research to be slow by pharmaceutical industry, but many scientists , doctors and universities have conducted extended research on it since last 3 decades. In 2013 scientific papers published results showing PEMF therapy had significant effects on brain functioning; this stimulated massive research in the field. As a result, PEMF therapy should be included for Ischemic or cerebral stroke rehabilitation. Speech therapy and physical therapy together with PEMF have been shown to produce better results too.

PEMF can be used as a tool for repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS). The great news is that PEMF can be used long-term and is lower-power, so it’s safer and easier alternative to expensive TMS therapy.

TMS therapy involves exposing the part of the brain affected by the stroke with strong electromagnetic waves repeatedly. The exposures are, however, limited to less than three hours per session to avoid damaging normal brain cells. When starting the therapy intense sessions of two hours are done. As improvements begin to become apparent, sessions are reduced to just 20 minutes.

PEMF therapy on the other hand, is safer and can be done at home, while providing similar results long-term. For the best results, PEMF frequencies are tuned to delta-state to allow higher quality recovery using a process known as brainwave entrainment.

Benefits of PEMF therapy for Stroke Rehabilitation

With the benefits PEMF, it is surprising to know it is not yet widely used.

During research, it has been shown that it reduces brain cell damage and stroke disability by 90%. To attain this, however, Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy should be started immediately after the stroke.

Speech is usually the first to recover. This is due to the ability of the electromagnetic waves to stimulate neurons regeneration. With reinstated communication physical therapy gets easier. The patient is able to explain how he feels and what part of the body has more pain. This gives therapists ability to tailor physical therapy to suit the needs of the patient. Additionally, the patient’s quality of life increases as they feel more relaxed and less pain. They are able to communicate with friends and family who provide the much needed emotional support for even faster recovery.

Motor function is reinstated faster when using the therapy. This is achieved by exposing the opposite side of the brain in relation to the affected limbs to the waves. This is because the motor function is controlled by the opposite side of the brain. Physiotherapy and massage should be done after PEMF sessions for even faster recovery.

Chronic strokes are a problem for some individuals. PEMF’s neuroprotective role prevents such a condition. This means that parts of the brain not affected by stroke are resistant to it. One PEMF therapy user that been using his PEMF Device since 15 years, got his stroke at the age of 59. He believes that he would have his stroke earlier. He also said that he started using PEMF from day 3 of gaining consciousness and was able to completely recover his voice and vision (which were 100% gone) within a few months.

PEMF therapy attributed to overall calmness and brain cell stimulation that comes with the therapy. More info about PEMF therapy for stroke rehabilitation is presented on PEMFHealing.in

The good thing about PEMF is that it can be used at all stages of the disease. Improvement has been documented in strokes that occurred a long time ago usually five to ten years. Most of the other therapies do not work after two years. If you are just learning about this now and you have had a stroke, don’t worry it can still be effective.

Better yet, PEMF can be compared to the best medication. This is because it has no side effects at all. When properly administered; for the right time and using the proper frequencies, studies have not shown any harm related to it.

PEMF devices for Stroke Rehabilitation

Many brands of PEMF devices are available today. If you want to get your health back in shape after having an ischemic stroke, you should definitely get one of these.

Most well-known among them is the Earth Pulse. EarthPulse at  https://earthpulse.net/#a_aid=goodvibrationspemfdocpace PEMF devices at budgets that are affordable. They come with a full money-back guarantee, which is really sweet of them, as you can return the device if it fails to provide results. That doesn’t seem to be happening often, or they wouldn’t have such as offer. Their customer support is great and provides good information when asked about how to get the best results when using their PEMF therapy devices for Stroke rehabilitation.

Another up-coming brand is the Flex Pulse at https://flexpulse.com/#a_aid=charlespacePEMFdoc . It is smaller and quite efficient too. It’s higher quality but slightly more expensive than the EarthPulse. It’s return policy charges a small re-stocking fee if you want to return it. FlexPulse also provides quite good customer support for users and ships worldwide. Both systems are easy to use and most effective with maximum amount of positive user feedback.

A stroke does not have to mean the end of normal life. With PEMF therapy you will be able to recover faster. You can get the therapy at a PEMF clinic in your town or purchase a PEMF device to be used at home. Work with it and your physiotherapist together!

PEMFS AND BRAIN RECOVERY AFTER STROKE

Nov 6, 2018 BY DR. PAWLUK

The ability to recover after stroke depends on many factors, including the regenerative capabilities of the brain. Recovery depends on the plasticity of the brain. The plasticity, or neuroplasticity, required in a damaged brain is very different from the plasticity of a normal functioning brain. The demand for adaptive healing starts immediately after a stroke event where blood supply to the brain is stopped or limited. The availability of various factors in the brain, called neurotrophic or growth factors, affect the potential for the growth of new neurons and the survival of existing neurons. Neurogenesis is regulated by many factors including neurotrophins, growth factors, hormones, neurotransmitters, and micro-environmental factors.

A PEMF STUDY IS CONDUCTED

A study was done to evaluate the effect of extremely low-frequency electromagnetic field therapy (ELF-EMF) on brain plasticity in the rehabilitation of patients after stroke. Forty-eight patients were divided into two groups and had the same rehabilitation program, but in the ELF-EMF study group, the patients additionally were exposed to a standard series of 10 ELF-EMF treatments, for 15 mins, at 5 mT (50 G), 40 Hz, to the pelvis. Most of the people in the study were between 3 to 4 weeks after their stroke and had an average age between 45-48 years.

The level of neuroplasticity was measured by the blood level of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), the vascular-endothelial growth factor (VEGF), as well as BDNF RNA gene expression. Additionally, they tested the levels of hepatocyte growth factor, stem cell factor, stromal cell-derived factor 1α, nerve growth factor β, and leukemia inhibitory factor.

RESULTS OF PEMF STUDY ON BRAIN RECOVERY AFTER STROKE

After 4 weeks, during which patients had undergone neurorehabilitation and neurological examinations, they assessed functional recovery using the Barthel Index, Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and the modified Rankin Scale (mRS). ELF-EMF treatment significantly increased growth factors and cytokine levels involved in neuroplasticity, as well as promoted enhancement of functional recovery. These effects were attributed to an increase in mRNA gene expression. Increased BDNF blood levels were associated with better clinical measures, and with lower depression scores (GDS). The PEMF group had double the amount of BDNF and 2.5 times more gene expression. VEGF is involved in the improvement of damaged cells by increasing circulation and restoring function. VEGF levels increased by 50%. Stroke scale severity and function measures were about 65% and 50% worse, respectively, in the non-PEMF group. The PEMF group also had about 35% better cognitive functioning and 45% better depression scores.

This study is important in showing that significantly better clinical improvements in stroke rehabilitation and recovery are supported by physical changes in plasticity measures, with the use of relatively low intensity, short course treatments of PEMFs. In this study PEMFs were started within 3-4 weeks of the stroke. It appears to make sense that PEMFs should be commonly used to enhance the recovery of people with recent strokes. Blog Post 3.2- NERVE REGENERATION USING PEMF THERAPY

Nerve Regeneration using PEMF therapy

Nerve regeneration or Neuroregeneration is one of the key reasons to use Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy. Let’s learn what nerve regeneration is and how PEMF therapy for nerve regeneration works.

PEMF therapy can be applied to our nervous system using PEMF devices such as the BioBalance. The nervous system consists of: the central nervous system (CNS), which includes the brain and spinal cord, and the peripheral nervous system (PNS), which includes cranial and spinal nerves along with their associated ganglia.

According to American Association of Neurological Surgeons, more than 100,000 new cases of Nervous System Disorders such as TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), SCI (Spinal Cord Injury), and PNI (Peripheral Nervous Injury) are reported each year.

Neuroregeneration or nerve repair refers to the regrowth or repair of nervous tissues, cells or cell products. Neuroregeneration differs between the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and the central nervous system (CNS) by the functional mechanisms and especially the extent and nerve regeneration speed.

Can nerves regenerate and how do nerves regenerate? Peripheral nerves are easily damaged, resulting in loss of motor and sensory function. Recovery of motor and sensory function after peripheral nerve injury is suboptimal, even after appropriate surgical repair. While the peripheral nervous system has an intrinsic ability for repair and regeneration, the central nervous system is, for the most part, incapable of self-repair and regeneration1.

This answer is what modern textbooks have to offer and does not reflect on the use of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy for nerve regeneration. It has now been proven that PEMF therapy can in fact bring back the CNS to life2.

PEMF Therapy for Nerve Regeneration

Professionals and institutions that work with neurodegeneration such as chiropractors, neurologists, physical therapists, orthopedists, regenerative medicine practitioners and indeed wellness, senior care and rehabilitation centers will find PEMF therapy to be one of the best solutions3 to deploy for their client’s needs.

Individuals suffering from a host of neurological issues such as spine / back pain4, sciatica, cervical5, herniated or ruptured disc6, multiple sclerosis7, or even stroke8, arthritis, parkinson’s disease910 and alzheimer’s disease11 can benefit tremendously with pulsed electromagnetic field therapy.

Back in 2002, NASA’s PEMF scientist, Thomas J. Goodwin reported that 10 Hz PEMF therapy application to neural tissues resulted in 400% improvement in regeneration. We now know that astronauts do not go to space without PEMF and a pulsed magnetic field is essential for functioning of our body’s bioelectric system.

PEMF therapy use exhibits nerve regeneration symptoms such as slight increase in pain and then quicker long-term pain relief even in chronic pain conditions. For anti-ageing effects, PEMF therapy is a great tool, more powerful than any nerve regeneration supplements. With long enough use, research shows that pulsed electromagnetic field therapy can provide life-changing recovery without any side effects or risk of infection. Although PEMF therapy is highly effective and safe, it is only now that awareness is building and institutions, doctors and the boomers are catching on to this novel regenerative tool.
